COALITION OF UNIONS PLANNING A STOPWORK ON THURSDAY

Rose Amos from NBC reports that the Coalition of Unions are planning a stop-work on Thursday.

The Coalition of Unions have came out, expressing their support to the students at the University of Papua New Guinea.
In a press conference this afternoon, they told reporters, they are organizing through their network throughout the country , planning for a stop work on Thursday.
President of Maritime Workers Union, Alex Rowali says, a lot of issues raised by various Unions were never dealt with appropriately by the government, and that shows that it is not concerned about the well being of workers in the country.
And they are now fully backing the students with their protests.

  1. And why is other provinces are operating as usual when Port Moresby is taking the lead?That means citizens of the nation are not concerned for what is really right.
