OPUR YEMBAL RESPONDS TO PM’S REFUSAL TO STEP DOWN

flagJ1

MY RESPONSE TO THE PRIME MINISTER’S 9 PAGE RESPONSE TO THE STUDENTS’ PETITION

The letter was deliberately and carefully crafted to mislead and to misinform, once again. How else would we have expected the PM to respond? To say that he was wrong about the UBS loan, that the economy is really in a deep hole, that we have a cash flow problem, that corruption is rampant, that he has totally disrespected the office he occupies by his behaviors? Of course not! And so I was not one bit surprised, exactly what I expected from a self justifying, power hungry maniac, and reckless manager of our nation’s affairs.

The act of the PM to justify his actions and decisions in a letter and various other times through the media and NOT through the due process in a competent court of law is a clear demonstration of his guilt. If he truly believes he is not guilty, he needs to, as any responsible leader would, present himself to be questioned by police fraud squad and step down to let the courts clear his name.

He has demonstrated his distaste and disregard for due process. He has become a court unto himself, declaring himself and his actions as proper, legal, and good for the country.

People, we are dealing with a crazy lunatic who is hellbent on staying in power. He cannot talk about due process and following the law to the students and people if he cannot do so himself. We have a dictator already in the making. The prime minister must step aside or resign from office forthwith.

He has completely destroyed the honor and respect for the people’s office.  He claims he has been mandated but completely fails to realize, comprehend, and understand in his brain that mandate carries responsibility and accountability and displaying behavior that is always above reproach.

  1. His reluctance to step down and manipulate the normal course of law is a distinct and crystal clear indication of DICTATORSHIP. Hello Papua New Guinea we are already in the dictatorship mode of political control and system. Welcome aboard everyone.
